Thanks to Selly Oak NNS funding we are now recommencing workday sessions at Kushinga Community Garden. These will be every Wednesday from 1 to 4pm. During the remainder of 2024 we will run weekly sessions until the 20th<\/sup> of November. In 2025, workdays will restart in early March.<\/p>\n

Due to delays in funding, this year has been quieter than normal. Nonetheless there still has been some activity and the space remains productive, and as fertile as ever. The land still gave us plenty of apples, figs, grapes, African kale, rhubarb, gooseberries, and huckleberry greens. And with some effort we have also grown and harvested, corn, squash, tomatoes, and aubergines.<\/p>\n

We have lots planned for the upcoming year, including growing more exotic and non-native crops from around the world, and the re-development of Kushinga’s Mother Garden function.<\/p>\n
